So everyone asks,"what does FOTG mean?"
Back around '03 a friend asked if I would help him edit with a small video project. I was more than happy to help.
The Project: Create three short films to promote The Group Garmonbosia (later to become Blitzen Trapper), the band my friend played drums in. The footage was shot in 15 second clips using a small still camera's video capabilities. Together we sorted dozens of clips to form the stories. When we finished, we both wanted to put fictitious production names on the videos.
I thought Friend of the Group sounded good, since I was a Friend of the Group Garmonbosia. The name was a liitle big for our tiny videos so I shortend it to FOTG. The rest is history.....
