12 minute running time
I shot the movie on a JVC GYHD100 720p at 24 fps. I used the stock lens and wide angle adapter. That was all the equipment used to shoot the movie, I shot MOS and only had a crappy stand, so most of it was shot hand held. I did get some assistance on a few shots, but 92.7% of the movie was made with one crew member, me.
The NLE was Adobe PPro2 and Aspect HD codex. I had a lot of technical issues in post, software/hardware issues tried their best to kill all creativity. The bright side is the output I'm getting is really nice. The HD footage is great and the down res to DV widescreen looks almost as good ....almost. The JVC has it's own look, not video, not film, somewhere in between, very cool and the reason I use it.
The workflow to Flash video is great, the JVC was made for FLV production, 24p. HD footage to FLV in one step and without framerate conversions or aspect ratio changes! I used After Effects to import the HD and export the FLV. I really like square pixels, all video should be square pixels!
If you have any questions about my production workflow, feel free to contact me, I'm no expert, but I've been through the fire....npi,
Jon
